Overview We're looking for a dependable, hands-on person to help keep our warehouse running and to learn our entry door build process. This is a general labor and shop position — you'll do a little of everything: keep the shop clean and organized, run deliveries, prep and hardware garage doors in house, and be trained to build entry doors from scratch. No door experience required. We'll train the right person. What matters most is showing up on time, working steady, and taking care of the shop like it's your own. What You'll Do Warehouse & Shop Upkeep Sweep, clean, and keep work areas and aisles clear Take out garbage and keep the dumpster area tidy Receive incoming freight, unload trucks, and put stock away in the right place Keep inventory organized and let management know when we're running low Basic upkeep on the building, yard, and shop equipment Deliveries Load and deliver doors, hardware, and materials to job sites and customers Secure loads properly and handle materials without damage Pick up parts and supplies as needed Keep company vehicles clean, fueled, and reported on if something's wrong Garage Door Hardware (In House) Pre-hardware sectional garage doors in the shop before they go to the job site Install hinges, rollers, struts, brackets, and related hardware to spec Cut and prep track, springs, and hardware for installation crews Stage completed doors and hardware so installers can load and go Entry Door Building (Training Provided) Learn to build and prehang entry doors — slab prep, boring, hinging, jamb assembly, weatherstrip, sweeps, and glass installation Read work orders and build to the exact size and specs listed Check your own work for square, fit, and finish before it leaves the shop Handle finished doors carefully to avoid damage General Help other departments when they're slammed Follow safety rules and use the right PPE Other duties as needed — small shop, everybody pitches in What We're Looking For Reliable and on time, every day Able to be on your feet all day Comfortable with hand and power tools (or willing to learn) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Able to read a tape measure accurately Attention to detail — doors have to be built right the first time Good attitude and willingness to learn Nice to have (not required): Previous warehouse, construction, or carpentry experience Forklift experience Experience pulling a trailer Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid training Paid holidays and PTO.
