Job Summary Kroff Inc., a leading company in the chemicals industry, is seeking a qualified Service Technician to join their team. Our diverse team is looking to add members who will assist with service tasks at a customer facility that is located in Horse Cave, KY. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of professionals collaborating to provide the best possible performance for our customer. Responsibilities Collect samples and perform routine testing for all process-related equipment, including Boilers and Cooling Tower systems Interpret results and perform chemical adjustments, as needed. Analyze the data to optimize plant performance. Inspect process equipment; including Boilers and Cooling Tower systems. Schedule, perform and participate in preventative maintenance activities. Input data to report management system and prepare reports for distribution to team. Prepare and conduct update meetings with team. Identify opportunities for process improvement and look to obtain approval to implement ideas/solutions Maintain accurate records and documentation of plant operations. Ensure plant operations are done in a manner that they are compliant with all relevant regulations and permits. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate of Applied Science Degree in related field preferred but not required. 1+ years of experience in boiler and/or cooling system treatment preferred but not required. Mechanically Inclined and 1+ year maintenance experience, preferred but not required. Ability to read, interpret and understand technical manuals and process drawings. Solid understanding of utility processes and equipment or possess the aptitude to learn. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Good computer skills. Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills. Benefits
