Cabin Connections is a family-owned portable building and cabin dealer with five lots across eastern Kentucky. We're looking for a hands-on repair technician who takes pride in fixing things right the first time and treating every customer like a neighbor. What you'll do Repair damaged or worn buildings on customer property — siding, trim, roofing, doors, windows, flooring, and framing Handle warranty and service appointments, and communicate clearly with customers about what you found and what you fixed Recondition repos, trade-ins, and display units so they're lot-ready: patch, paint, replace hardware, deep clean Keep the lots looking sharp — minor touch-ups on display buildings, straightening, general upkeep Track your parts, materials, and hours on each job Photograph completed work (and before repairs) for our records What you need Solid general carpentry skills: you can frame, hang a door, cut and set siding, and shingle a roof without hand-holding Comfortable with power tools and your own basic hand/power tools Valid driver's license and clean driving record; willing to travel between lots and to customer sites Able to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and work outdoors year-round Dependable and self-directed: a lot of this job is you, a truck, and a work order Professional with customers Helps but not required Experience with portable buildings, sheds, cabins, or mobile home setup Metal roofing and metal siding experience Basic electrical or plumbing knowledge Experience pulling a trailer

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
