Woodburners - Full-Time Service Technician Baton Rouge, LA Woodburners is now hiring a full-time Service Technician. For nearly 50 years, we have been Baton Rouge's premier fireplace retailer. We sell, install, and service wood and gas fireplaces and continue to expand our business. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team. Responsibilities Deliver and install fireplaces, gas logs, and related products Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on wood and gas fireplace systems Provide excellent customer service and clear communication Deliver products to customers' homes Apply basic knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and construction practices Work safely with power tools (saws, drills, etc.) on residential and construction sites Minimum Qualifications 3 years of experience in the hearth industry or a related field (plumbing, electrical, or mechanical) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong attention to detail Comfortable working with ladders and on roofs Ability to lift 30-75 lbs Ability to work outdoors on construction sites Preferred Qualifications Previous technical experience with gas and electrical systems Schedule This position requires overtime and some Saturday hours during our busy season (generally September through January).
