Job Description

About us Eastern Scientific Sales and Service, LLC Vacuum Pump Sales & Service Eastern Scientific LLC is a vacuum pump repair facility for the University, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industries. Shop technician's responsibilities include but are not limited to: Vacuum pump tear-down, evaluation and assembly to OEM specifications Cleaning parts for reassembly Failure analysis / Troubleshooting malfunctions Some on-site Preventative maintenance (oil changes, pressure measurements, etc) Final inspection / Painting Possible Pump delivery & Pick up in the Boston area Will Train employee
Skills & Requirements:
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose pump failure Ability to work independently under general guidance and direction Maintain a neat and orderly workspace Obtain a high level of attention to detail Mechanically inclined /Small engine repair a plus Experience with vacuum systems a plus
Good Driving Record Basic Qualifications:
High-school Diploma / GED or higher Ability to manually lift heavy objects, parts, and equipment as needed Valid MA driver's license / Clean driving record Must be legally authorized to work in the US •Vocational Training •Completion of a trade school is highly regarded No tolerance drug policy - initial and random drug testing performed
