Immediately Job Description The part-time, after school, in-home ABA therapist is responsible for providing ABA services to a child with autism during after-school hours (or when there is no school if the schedule is approved by the employee) in the child's home. This position is perfect for someone that works in a school as the hours are when the school is not in session and the typical session lasts about 2 hours so it is a perfect supplement to your current hours. Multiple Locations available throughout in Massachusetts - Framingham, Hudson, Walpole, Charlton, Holliston, Hopedale and Shrewsbury. Training is provided and no one is ever expected to work without being trained for their specific client and meeting them with other staff first. The employee will work with the same client all the time and has the same schedule every week. Children range in age from 3-16 and the employee is matched with the child based on comfort and preference. A typical session involves the Technician setting up materials for the session, running ABA programs, collecting the data from the programs, and finishing the session with a session note, all of which is done using the company's ABA software and an Ipad is provided. Sessions last for approximately 2 hours. The days that the Technician work are determined by the Technician's availability. Technicians can work as few as 2 days per week and as many as 7, it all depends upon the Technician's availability. The company is privately owned and the owners work with the staff. It is a small company that emphasizes high quality ABA services provided by caring and reliable staff that have the best interest of the children as their priority. Supervision is provided once a week and expectations are that staff be competent, reliable, caring, and compassionate. No experience required,
