The role installs, programs, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, rebuilds, and services banking security equipment, including remote drive-up systems, deal drawers, pneumatic tube systems, audio/video equipment, locks, vaults, secure keyways, access-control devices, and electronic security systems . Technicians also respond to field service calls and repair or replace damaged components at customer locations. Ideal candidates have a background as a locksmith, security technician, electronic technician, field service technician, ATM technician, low-voltage technician, or banking equipment technician and are skilled in diagnosing mechanical and electronic equipment issues.
