Our Capital region team is looking for a Service Technician! The Service Technician will provide superior customer service by performing repairs and maintenance services on Renewal by Andersen products. This is a field-based role utilizing a company vehicle; a motor vehicle record check will be required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

: Service and repair previously installed RbA products. Analyzes customers' situations, determines corrective action to be taken and verify the action has fixed the situation in a cost efficient and effective manner. Keep team members informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken to resolve service issues. Provide accurate part descriptions, including part numbers, to Service RSR. Maintain vehicle maintenance and inventory. Provide Signature Service to homeowners and peers. Basic knowledge of RbA window and door installation techniques and ability to correct installation errors. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

: High school diploma and valid driver's license with clean driving record; 2 or more years window installation experience preferred. Basic construction techniques; good knowledge of basic construction and building materials; knowledge of terminology of the construction industry. Demonstrated ability to confidently handle confrontation/conflicts using a tactful and diplomatic approach. Basic math skills, legible writing, basic personal computer skills in Word and Excel.
