Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrician Service Technician to join our growing commercial electrical service team. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading electrical systems in commercial environments. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in the field. Duties Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues in commercial settings Perform service calls for interior and exterior commercial lighting systems Work on parking lot lighting, lighting contactors, and electrical distribution systems Conduct site surveys and assist with quoting electrical work Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety standards Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors, and office staff Complete service documentation using computer or mobile-based systems Participate in weekend on-call rotation as required Daily travel to job site Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician (commercial preferred) Strong working knowledge of current electrical codes Experience with commercial electrical distribution methods Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems Experience with interior/exterior commercial lighting and parking lot lighting Ability to quote or assist with estimating electrical work from site surveys Must own required hand tools, diagnostic, and troubleshooting tools Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills Comfortable using computers, tablets, and mobile technology Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods Ability to lift 50 lbs or more Valid driver's license with clean driving record and active insurance Ability to pass a background check Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Company benefits available after probationary period Opportunities for growth and long-term stability
