Job Description

Soldering Technician Laurel, Maryland 6-months contract (W2) $30-40 an hour This is a great opportunity for a Soldering Technician to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing business, working on advanced assemblies used in mission-critical applications, with great earning potential. The company develops innovative technologies for the defence sectors, combining complex electronics, mechanical systems and precision manufacturing. You will be responsible for assembling electromechanical components, working from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and BOM's, with a strong focus on quality accuracy. The role involves precision soldering, crimping and basic functional testing, making it an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands-on technical skills who wants to develop within a specialist engineering environment
The Role:
Perform precision soldering and crimping on connectors, cables and circuit boards Build electromechanical assemblies from technical drawings, schematics and BOMs Work closely with engineers to troubleshoot issues and ensure quality Carry out basic functional testing using specialist test equipment
The Person:
3+ years' experience in a manufacturing, assembly or technical environment Strong understanding of wiring and soldering practices; IPC certification is a plus Able to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and BOMs Comfortable using hand/power tools and measuring equipment, with strong manual dexterity Immediately available for a 6-month contract Rise Technical Recruitment Inc of 1011 Centre Rd, Suite 322, Wilmington, DE 19805 act as an employer-paid private personnel agency.
