Machine Service Technician - Auburn Hills At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Machine Service Technician to work with a leading company in the plastic injection molding industry in Auburn Hills. This role focuses on troubleshooting and maintaining complex hot runner systems and related components at customer sites. Shift Patterns Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as needed based on customer requirements 1st shift: 7:00 am to 5:30 pm 2nd shift: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am Average of 8-10 hours per day with 5-15 hours of overtime available per week Pay Rates 30.00 - 33.00 USD hourly Must-have requirements for Machine Service Technician More than 2 years of experience in plastic injection molding More than 2 years of experience in machine processing and troubleshooting/replacing injector pins More than 2 years of experience with machine processing or mold setting More than 2 years of experience with basic machine maintenance Ability to read gages, micrometers, and calipers Ability to read blueprints Valid driver's license to travel to customer sites Desirable requirements for Machine Service Technician Experience repairing DME and/or Husky hot runner systems Role for Machine Service Technician Troubleshoot hot runner systems, including direct flow manifolds, unitized manifolds, and valve gate systems Assess components, determine necessary repairs, and perform equipment testing and adjustments Coordinate with customers to ensure equipment performance and acceptance Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service calls Perform local field service visits using a company-provided service van Benefits for Machine Service Technician Professional growth in a specialized technical field Opportunity to work with advanced injection molding technology Stable work environment with consistent overtime availability Company-provided vehicle for local service travel
