As a Service Technician for USA Insulation, you will be responsible for providing hands-on and remote technical support to existing installations. You will provide ongoing support for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repairs to customers homes, such as, removal of siding, hardy board, and other building material. You will also provide support for small drywall repairs, electrical repairs and plumbing repair As part of the service team, you will be self-motivated and will demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude when servicing our customers. You will also be responsible to improve customer satisfaction, maximize customer retention and increase profitability.

Skills:

Basic Tools and Equipment Use Proficiency with hand tools like hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers. Safe operation of power tools, such as drills, saws, sanders, and nail guns. Proper tool maintenance and storage. Carpentry Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood or other materials. Fixing doors, windows, and furniture. Building shelves, cabinets, and other small projects. Plumbing Fixing leaky faucets and pipes. Replacing showerheads, toilets, or sinks. Clearing clogged drains. Electrical Work Installing or replacing light fixtures, outlets, and switches. Troubleshooting electrical issues (basic level, no high-voltage work). Safely working with wires and electrical components. Painting and Wall Repair Painting walls, ceilings, and trim. Patching holes and repairing drywall. Preparing surfaces for painting (sanding, priming, etc.). Home Maintenance Repairing or replacing locks, hinges, and handles. Sealing windows and doors for weatherproofing. Cleaning gutters and maintaining the exterior of buildings. Flooring Installing or repairing tiles, laminate, or hardwood floors. Replacing damaged tiles or planks. Grouting and sealing. Appliance Repair Troubleshooting and fixing small household appliances. Replacing parts like belts, filters, or hoses. Knowledge of basic HVAC system maintenance. Landscaping and Outdoor Maintenance Repairing fences and gates. Power washing driveways, decks, or siding. Problem-Solving Diagnosing issues effectively. Thinking creatively to find solutions. Planning and prioritizing tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Work with the install team to improve customer experience while providing first class customer service. Perform quality work while keeping a timely schedule and extremely dependable. Follow detailed work orders, and assist with any work orders that need more attention due to the type of home or layout. Safely operate company vehicles and equipment. Follow company safety guidelines, policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Must have own tools and strong background in construction, carpentry and general electrical. Background in siding and basic understanding of general handyman skills important to be successful in this position. At least 3-5 years construction experience is preferred. Background Check - Must be able to pass a background check.
