We're passionate about craftsmanship, quality, and customer satisfaction — and we're growing! We're looking for a skilled and motivated Technician to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Woodworking Technician at Door Renew, you'll play a key role in restoring wooden doors to their original beauty. This hands-on position requires attention to detail, woodworking experience, and the ability to take initiative and lead when needed. You'll work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sand, strip, repair, and refinish wood doors Operate woodworking tools and refinishing equipment safely and efficiently Assist with loading/unloading doors (must be able to lift 50+ lbs) Maintain a clean and organized workspace Communicate effectively with team members and clients Ensure high standards of quality and craftsmanship on every project Take leadership in job site organization and task delegation as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience in woodworking, carpentry, or similar hands-on trade Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to lift and move doors and equipment (50+ lbs) Strong problem-solving skills and leadership potential Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Excellent communication and time management skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn
