As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied and with their vehicle in optimal condition. What You'll Do Vehicle Diagnostics and Repair:
Perform thorough vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical issues and repair them efficiently and effectively.
Routine Maintenance:
Conduct regular vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, and more.
Technical Expertise:
Use your technical knowledge to repair and replace parts such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems while following industry standards and manufacturer guidelines..
Customer Communication:
Provide clear explanations of vehicle issues and repairs to service advisors and customers, ensuring they understand the work being done.
Quality Control:
Test vehicles after repairs to ensure everything is functioning correctly and meets or exceeds safety standards.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with service advisors, porters, and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery.
Continual Learning:
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through training and ongoing development. Qualifications Experience Previous experience as an automotive service technician or mechanic is preferred. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures. ASE certification or equivalent is a plus, but not required. Experience using diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Skills Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to customers and team members. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. A strong commitment to safety and quality of work
