Job Description

Mobile Field Service Technician $45.00 - $54.00 per hour + Overtime 40-60 Hours Per Week Company Service Truck Provided Strategic Placement Partners is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Mobile Field Service Technician. Experienced Heavy Equipment, Crane, Utility Equipment & Fleet Technicians Encouraged to Apply This is NOT an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced technician with a strong background in hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel equipment, truck-mounted equipment, and mobile diagnostics. If you have experience working on knuckle boom cranes, bucket trucks, aerial lifts, truck-mounted forklifts, utility equipment, heavy trucks, trailers, or hydraulic systems , we want to hear from you. You'll work independently from a fully equipped company service truck, providing onsite repairs and preventative maintenance for commercial customers throughout your assigned territory. What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair truck-mounted hydraulic equipment. Perform repairs on cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, bucket trucks, aerial equipment, conveyors, heavy trucks, and trailers. Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic system failures. Perform preventative maintenance, annual DOT inspections, and warranty repairs. Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls. Communicate repair recommendations with fleet managers and customers. Complete work orders, service reports, and parts documentation accurately. Maintain a clean, organized service truck and work safely at all customer locations. Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards. What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of recent experience as a Mobile Field Service Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician, Crane Technician, Utility Equipment Technician, Diesel Technician, or Fleet Mechanic.
Strong troubleshooting experience with:
Hydraulic systems Electrical systems Diesel engines PTO systems Mechanical repairs Experience repairing truck-mounted equipment. Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics. Welding experience is a plus. Must provide your own basic mechanic's tools. Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions. CDL Requirement A Class B CDL is required for this position. Don't have your CDL? Qualified candidates without a CDL will be sponsored by the company to obtain their Class B CDL within the first 60 days of employment. A clean driving record is required. Travel Average 40-60 hours per week Some overnight travel is required depending on customer needs. Company service truck provided. Do you currently hold a valid Class B CDL? If you do not currently have a Class B CDL, are you willing and able to obtain one within 60 days of employment (company paid)?
