Job Description
Martin Door is a third-generation family-owned company specializing in the sale, installation, and service of doors and windows. The company has been in business since 1965 and has built a reputation of excellence by consistently delivering high quality and personalized service to their customers for their door and window needs. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Residential Installer and Repair Technician to join our hard working and friendly team. We will provide you industry training and expertise in exchange for your hard work and reliability. Our field team is the front line of our company's reputation; we take pride in giving our customers and potential customers the best-in-class experience we have come to be known for. This position role offers a union pay scale and benefits package along with a company vehicle and mobile phone for work purposes.
What We're Looking For:

Day:
- Address customer's needs through in home service calls
- Act as the face of the company to clients
- Work with the service writers to meet the demands of the business
- Perform on-the-spot maintenance as necessary
- Collect deposits and payments from customers
- Work with customers to identify opportunities to expand business offerings while on site
- Track and maintain necessary paperwork and collect payments for work performed
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Construction or Door and Window experience
- Former experience with framing, siding, or other trades is transferrable
- Upsells and promotes services clients may not know about
- Has excellent time management skills
- Is a professional communicator (written and verbal)
- Candidates with experience installing and repairing sectional, hollow metal, rolling frame, commercial entry doors, sliding doors, dock doors, and the accompanying parts and accessories will be given immediate preference
