Service Technician

Job Description

SunSouth, Gulfport, MS , is currently seeking a qualified Service Technician.
Responsibilities:
Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment, and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products. Participate in Service EDUCATE Training Programs required for the development of skills and knowledge. Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures. JD Gator experience preferred. Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment. Minimum of 1-2 years experience required. Ability to use Service Advisor. Basic computer skills Proficient oral and written communication skills. High School Diploma / GED required. Basic Service Technician Certification preferred. Associates Degree a plus as well as Forklift Certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly Ability to work extended hours and weekend. Valid driver's license / clean driving record.

$22.00 - $32.00 per hour
