Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and cleaning vacuum cleaners. This role requires a strong understanding of technical systems and the ability to troubleshoot effectively. We will train you on vacuum cleaner repair. The Repair Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer repairs are done efficiently and correctly while ensuring customer service and communications during the process. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in equipment. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to test electrical components and systems. Document repairs into the POS accurately. Communicate with customers about repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience as a Repair Technician or in a similar technical role is preferred. Familiarity with using diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to the customer. The position would be approximately 24 - 30 hours per week but we are flexible on days and hours per day. The hours would usually be 10 AM - 4 PM. Ability to lift at least 30 lbs. and some computer aptitude is required.
