This is a remote field position dispatched from home, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining commercial and industrial doors and dock equipment. We install, service, and repair a wide range of equipment — from overhead sectional and rolling steel doors to loading docks, hollow metal doors, glass storefronts, gates, and access control systems. No two days are the same! We'll provide you with a company service truck, hand and power tools, uniforms, and a supportive team that values safety, skill, and reliability. What You'll Be Doing Installing, servicing, and repairing commercial and industrial doors and dock equipment Completing fire door and automatic door inspections in accordance with safety and compliance standards Performing preventative maintenance to ensure proper door and equipment operation Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and access control systems Reading blueprints and following installation specifications Working in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings including warehouses, manufacturing facilities, retail spaces, and office buildings Using mobile dispatch software to manage job details, service calls, and customer updates Communicating clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicles in top condition Following all safety procedures on every job. Experience with storefront systems, hollow metal doors, or automatic pedestrian doors is a major plus!
