Job Description
Service Technician Description The purpose of the Service Technician is to perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures at our stores and other facilities. Duties Performs minor (and assists with) major repairs of all buildings and equipment. Performs preventive maintenance procedures on equipment on a scheduled basis. Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures. Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed. Repairs electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switches; repairs refrigeration equipment. Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required. May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed. Performs all other tasks, as required by supervisor. Qualifications 2-3 years of service technician experience, including, but not limited to, electrical and plumbing.
