Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Marine Repair and Install Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and installing marine equipment and vessels with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that all marine systems operate safely and reliably, providing exceptional service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of marine projects, utilizing your mechanical, electrical, and fabrication skills to deliver top-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance on marine vessels and equipment, including electrical systems, rigging. Install new marine systems and components following detailed schematics and technical drawings. Utilize power tools, hand tools, welding and soldering irons, and fabrication techniques to complete projects efficiently. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs, installations, and maintenance procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar marine repair role with strong mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, welding, sheet metal work, and fabrication processes. Experience with rigging, assembly work, and the use of hand tools and power tools required for marine applications. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices applicable to marine vessels or related equipment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Additional skills such as sales experience or familiarity with maintenance management are advantageous but not required.
