Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fixture Repair/Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and installing a variety of fixtures across commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that all fixtures are functioning properly, safely, and in accordance with project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and construction knowledge to deliver high-quality results that enhance the functionality and aesthetics of our clients' spaces. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of fixtures including plumbing, electrical components, cabinetry, tile, masonry, and trim to identify repair needs or installation requirements Repair or replace damaged fixtures using hand tools, power tools, and construction materials in accordance with safety standards and blueprints Install new fixtures such as cabinets, tile masonry, gutters, flooring, and stucco following detailed construction plans and specifications Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise measurements and accurate installation or repair work Utilize construction management techniques to coordinate tasks efficiently on-site while adhering to project timelines Perform routine maintenance on fixtures to prevent future issues and extend their lifespan Maintain detailed records of repairs, installations, materials used, and time spent on each project Qualifications Proven experience in fixture repair or related construction fields such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or electrical work Proficiency with bluebeam or similar digital markup tools for reviewing construction plans and technical drawings Strong knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and following blueprint specifications accurately Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, ladder use, and measuring devices like tape measures or laser meters Familiarity with tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, gutter installation, stucco application, cabinet installation, framing carpentry, masonry work, remodeling projects Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members Ability to perform dimensional measurements precisely for proper fixture placement Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and efficient workflow management Join us as a Fixture Repair/Technician if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills to impactful projects.
