Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented person to join our growing team as a Repair Technician. In this entry level role, you will become responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic devices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn technical skills that will apply to a wide variety of complex electronic systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about troubleshooting and repair, proactive, and team focused. Once trained, Repair Technicians will be expected to help the team meet repair KPI's while maintaining quality and accuracy. Duties Diagnose defective devices by examining external and internal components to confirm reported deficiencies. Determine what parts are needed to fix diagnosed issues. Ensure accurate documentation of diagnoses and tracking of repair parts logged in inventory. Repair devices by replacing the failed components including LCDs, keyboards, system boards, etc. Test devices to ensure the efficacy of the replaced parts and the absence of any additional issues. Submit devices to peer review for quality assurance and accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Requirements High School Diploma. Ability to learn new skills and repair techniques within a reasonable time frame as required. Ability to perform maintenance tasks on electronic systems while adhering to safety standards. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience (1-2 years) as a Repair Technician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and/or electronics repair. CompTiA+ Certified or any other OEM Certifications. Knowledge of laptops, desktops, Macbooks, Chromebooks, tablets, and/or cellular devices and their internal parts. Passion for maintaining or customizing personal electronics. Pay will start at $15/hr for new hires. As you acquire the skills necessary to perform the job your pay will incrementally increase until you are fully trained at $18/hr. The faster you pick up the skills, the quicker the raises to reach $18/hr.
