Job Description
About the Role We're a growing residential and commercial HVAC/refrigeration company looking for a motivated, dependable Service Technician to join our team. This is a ground-floor opportunity with real room to grow. We're building something here, and we want the right person to grow with us. What You'll Do Perform maintenance and repairs of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and mechanical systems across diverse property types. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and troubleshooting techniques. Conduct routine preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to maximize efficiency and lifespan. Perform service calls and equipment troubleshooting to ensure optimal system operation. Coordinate with clients for service appointments and ensure all work complies with safety standards, including EPA refrigerant regulations. Document work performed accurately in service logs and reports. Travel to job sites within our 60-mile service radius. Participate in an on-call rotation outside regular business hours. What We're Looking For 5+ years of hands-on HVAC/refrigeration field experience, with a strong background in HVAC design, installation, and repair. Expertise in electrical diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Ability to read and interpret schematics for electrical wiring, plumbing layouts, and HVAC controls. Mechanical knowledge of boilers, air conditioning units, and HVAC/R equipment troubleshooting. Proficiency with hand tools, welding, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Clean driving record, valid driver's license required. EPA Universal certification preferred. Comfortable commuting within our 60-mile service radius.
