Valvoline Instant Oil Change Service Technician At our locally owned Valvoline shops, the work speaks for itself. It's fast-paced, hands-on, and grounded in doing things the right way, each and every time. We hold a high standard for quality, safety, and consistency, and we rely on each other to deliver it. This is where the real work happens- and where that standard comes to life. Role Overview The Service Technician is responsible for executing the hands-on work that keeps vehicles running safely and efficiently. This role operates primarily in the lower bay and under the hood, supporting the team through consistent, high-quality execution. You'll be expected to stay focused, work efficiently, and contribute to a strong, reliable team environment. Who We're Looking For You'll thrive in this role if you: Prefer hands-on work and staying active throughout your shift Take pride in doing things right — not just getting them done Stay focused and efficient, even during busy periods Work well as part of a team and communicate clearly Show up consistently and ready to work What You'll Be Responsible For Perform oil changes, fluid services, and tire rotations Work in the pit and under the hood daily Complete safety checks and basic vehicle inspections Replace batteries, filters, lights, and wipers Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate with upper bay and team members to keep workflow moving Interact with customers as needed in a professional, respectful manner What You Bring Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Comfort with physical, fast-paced work Attention to detail and consistency in execution Reliability and accountability to your team Ability to follow safety procedures at all times Experience & Requirements Technician experience is a plus, not required Paid training provided for all experience levels Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends Full-time, up to 40 hours per week Must be located near the job site
