Help Give Pallets a Second Life. Index Packaging is a growing manufacturing company with four New Hampshire facilities and more than 200 employees dedicated to delivering innovative packaging solutions. We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Recycled Pallets team. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing quality products, and like staying active throughout the day, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
In this role, you'll inspect, repair, rebuild, and sort wooden pallets to prepare them for resale while helping maintain a safe and efficient production environment.
Responsibilities include:
Inspecting and grading pallets to determine repair needs. Disassembling damaged pallets using appropriate tools. Rebuilding and repairing pallets using blocks, companion stringers, and other required components. Performing quality inspections to ensure repaired pallets meet company standards. Working efficiently to maintain production flow. Safely operating nail guns, saws, and other woodworking tools. Keeping your work area clean and organized. Following all company safety procedures. Supporting team operations and assisting with other duties as assigned.

We're seeking someone who enjoys physical work, values teamwork, and takes pride in producing quality work every day.
Ideal experience includes:
Experience in manufacturing, woodworking, pallet repair, construction, or a related hands-on environment preferred. Experience using nail guns, saws, or similar hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work well as part of a team. Willingness to learn—training is provided.
Physical Requirements:
This is an active position that includes: Standing and walking for most of the shift. Frequent bending, lifting, twisting, and reaching. Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, with team lifting for heavier materials. Working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
