Responsibilities Execute precise assembly, alignment, and calibration of optical components using high-magnification microscopes. Interpret complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide production workflows. Conduct thorough performance testing and data analysis to verify that assemblies meet exact tolerance specifications. Maintain meticulous records of production logs, shop orders, and quality control documentation. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement improvements for manufacturing efficiency. Utilize specialized solvents and cleaning protocols to ensure hardware integrity and cleanliness. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in precision optical or laser assembly. Proficiency with hand tools, oscilloscopes, vision systems, and electronic test equipment. Strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform fine-motor tasks for extended periods. Must be a US Citizen.
