Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities:
Perform preventive & corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing to mall building Conduct routine check on building M&E services including air-conditioning, electrical, sanitary & plumbing, building automation system, fire protection system and carpark system Attend to enquiries, complaints of breakdown, service requests of repairing & servicing regarding M&E matters from tenants via maintenance hotline Supervise contractors to ensure work are carried out in accordance with work specifications and are in acceptable standard Manage, follow up on progress of rectification works and report to the management team in timely manner Support energy-saving initiatives and monitor utility consumption for operational efficiency Assist in implementation and testing of emergency response procedures such as fire drills and system shutdowns Update maintenance logs and monitor spare parts inventory
Requirements:
Education Nitec in Electrical / Mechanical / Facility Technology / Facility Management Higher Nitec or relevant WSQ certifications in Facilities or Building Maintenance preferred Experience Preferably one year of experience in Facilities Management / Building Services / M&E Operations in a commercial building or shopping mall environment Hands-on experience in conducting inspections, basic repairs, and routine servicing of building systems Familiarity with managing service contractors and vendor coordination Skills Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and plumbing layouts Experience with air-conditioning and sanitary systems will be an added advantage Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals Knowledge in using Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management System (EMS) Basic computer literacy in MS Word and Excel for reporting and logging maintenance work Attributes Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety practices Good communication skills to interact with tenants, vendors, and internal teams Able to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to supervise contractors to ensure work are carried out in accordance with work specifications and are in acceptable standard and able to respond promptly to maintenance emergencies Willing to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
