Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Center Server Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining server hardware and electronic equipment within our data center environment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and uptime of critical infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic systems, and deliver exceptional service to support our data center operations. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about maintaining high standards of technical excellence. Responsibilities Perform detailed diagnostics on server hardware, electronic systems, and electrical equipment using specialized diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters. Troubleshoot electrical issues in AC/DC electrical systems by interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints to identify faults efficiently. Conduct field service repairs on servers and related electronic equipment within the data center environment, ensuring minimal downtime. Utilize hand tools and soldering equipment to repair or replace damaged components on circuit boards and electronic assemblies. Test electronic systems using engineering troubleshooting techniques to verify repairs and ensure proper operation before deployment or reinstallation. Maintain accurate documentation of repair procedures, system configurations, and diagnostic results for ongoing maintenance records. Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes, adhere to safety protocols, and deliver excellent customer service to internal clients. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in computer hardware repair, electronic systems troubleshooting, or data center maintenance. Strong knowledge of electrical diagnostics, schematic reading, and interpretation of electrical blueprints. Hands-on experience with AC/DC electrical systems, soldering techniques, and electronic equipment testing tools such as oscilloscopes. Familiarity with computer networking fundamentals and the integration of server hardware within network environments. Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance on complex electronic systems while adhering to safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to troubleshooting engineering issues quickly and effectively.
