NDC are entering an exciting new chapter, with this role offering a rare opportunity to be part of real transformation. We're looking for a hands-on Electronic Repair Technician to join our expert team at our new fully equipped Midtown, Manhattan-based repair facility. This is a workshop-based position, ideal for someone with a technical mindset, strong soldering skills, and a passion for fault-finding and component-level repair. What's on Offer? Electronic Repair Technician:
Assess elevator electronic assemblies Perform detailed fault diagnosis to component level Conduct precise soldering and component replacement (soldering is a daily requirement) Source and purchase replacement components Testing of assemblies post-repair Work on varied, complex repairs in a supportive team environment
What You'll Bring:
A technical qualification or 3+ years' hands-on experience in a similar electronics repair role Previous experience in laptop or other consumer electronic is an advantage GED or equivalent Excellent soldering and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities Strong communication skills - written and verbal Computer literacy Ability to pass background checks
