Job Description:

Job Objectives To perform effective component maintenance which includes inspection, operational test, repair, and modification (where required) of aircraft components. Job Responsibilities Perform the full range of repair duties on assigned components under the general supervision of the immediate superior Perform repair/overhaul/modification of components according to the requirements specified by relevant approved data Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance on aircraft components in accordance with manufacturer and other directives Perform troubleshooting, testing and operational checks on aircraft components Participate in product audit exercises (where/when necessary) to ensure that Satair's practice/repair overhaul procedure is 100 aligned with the OEM requirement Collaborate (where/when necessary) with Customer Service, the OEM and Satair's management to resolve issues concerning aircraft systems modifications and repairs Perform requisition of materials necessary for the jobs in accordance to specified procedures Receive training in specific core and secondary skills to enable multi-skill level work to be performed Carry out good housekeeping practices and observe all Health and Safety procedures Participate in production planning exercises Participate in cross training efforts - technical training including recurrent training to other technicians Participate in HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) exercises as and when required Participate in new capability study and new capability set-up as and when requested to do so Participate in continuous improvement projects related to the workshop, specifically in the areas of test/repair engineering and other business processes at large Job Requirements Diploma in Aeronautical / Aerospace / Avionics Engineering preferred Mechanical or Avionics Engineering Fundamentals Computer literate - ability to learn new programs and understand all basic computer functions Knowledge of tools for SAP, email and databases Maintain relations across functions and with all stakeholders Ability to work in an international context Results and task focused Motivated and cooperative Proactive and flexible Attention to detail Ability to work under pressure Service orientated Inter-cultural understanding Attitude supportive of Satair values This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
