Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial boilers, including high-pressure steam boilers and other large-scale mechanical systems. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and operational manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on boilers, pumps, valves, piping, and associated equipment to prevent downtime. Utilize your mechanical knowledge to repair or replace components such as weldings, sensors, gauges, and control systems. Collaborate with building automation systems (BAS) to monitor system performance and adjust controls for optimal operation. Troubleshoot engineering problems related to hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and industrial equipment to ensure seamless functionality. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting inspections, repairs, and system upgrades. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance activities to promote a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience with industrial boiler operation and mechanical troubleshooting in a field service or maintenance setting. Strong mechanical knowledge of boiler mechanics, hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and building automation systems. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting guides. Hands-on experience with welding, equipment maintenance, and industrial mechanic tasks. Ability to diagnose complex issues involving high-pressure steam boilers and other industrial equipment efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members. Relevant certifications in HVAC/R or industrial mechanics are preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
