Full Job Description Position Overview:

Tool & Die Maker / Die Repair Technician Dove Die & Stamping Company Cleveland, OH Up to $35.00/hour Dove Die & Stamping is seeking experienced Tool & Die Makers and Die Repair Technicians to join our team. This position is responsible for building, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving metal stamping dies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Build, repair, modify, and maintain stamping dies. Troubleshoot tooling and production issues. Perform die sharpening, rework, rebuilds, and press support. Read and interpret blueprints, die layouts, and engineering drawings. Perform machining, grinding, fitting, and assembly work. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams. Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives. Qualifications 3+ years of Tool & Die or Die Repair experience. Experience with progressive, single-stage, compound, or line dies. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read blueprints and work independently. Machining, grinding, and press troubleshooting experience preferred. Apprenticeship completion is a plus. Preferred Transfer die, deep draw die, fixture, or gauge experience. Welding and heat-treat experience. Leadership or mentoring experience.
