Field Services Technician Ross Incineration Services, Inc - 1.0 Grafton, OH Job Details $23 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a Field Service Technician to support industrial service projects involving hazardous and non-hazardous waste, lab packing, vacuuming, pressure washing, and confined space entry. This position works both on and off company sites and requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and environmental compliance. Key Responsibilities Perform industrial field service activities safely and in compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures. Handle, vacuum, sample, manifest, segregate, package, and ship materials as required. Operate light and heavy equipment, including pumps, vacuum equipment, generators, skid steers, and oil spill booms. Operate hand tools and powered industrial equipment, including pressure washers. Enter confined spaces and work at heights using ladders and scaffolding as required. Perform physically demanding work, including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects. Complete daily worksheets, vehicle and equipment inspections, safety permits, and other required documentation. Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Follow PPE, safety, and site-specific requirements. Participate in required OSHA, DOT, confined space, lockout/tagout, and job-specific training. Work closely with customers and internal teams to complete projects safely and on schedule. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years of environmental remediation or hazardous waste disposal experience preferred but NOT required Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 40%). Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions. Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly bend, stoop, lift, push, and pull. Experience operating a front-end loader, forklift, or tow motor is a plus. CDL experience is a plus .
