Intermediate Service Technician Marietta, Ohio Area | Full-Time At Aardvark Communications & Security , we're a close-knit, locally grown team dedicated to keeping our communities connected and protected. We deliver custom telecommunications and security solutions for commercial and residential clients, including: ✅ VoIP & Hosted Phone Systems ✅ Advanced Network Cabling ✅ CCTV & Video Surveillance ✅ Intrusion Alarm Systems ✅ Access Control Systems ✅ Fire Protection Solutions We're currently seeking an Intermediate Service Technician to join our growing team. What You'll Do As an Intermediate Service Technician, you'll independently install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot security, telecommunications, and network infrastructure systems while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities include:
Install and wire commercial and residential security panels, CCTV cameras, and access control systems Program and configure IP devices, wireless GSM modules, access points, and network switches Set up customer mobile integration applications such as Total Connect 2.0 Provide end-user training and system orientation Diagnose and repair common system issues, including ground faults, backup battery failures, and camera system interruptions Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards What We're Looking For ✔ 2-4 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications, low-voltage, or security systems ✔ Basic understanding of IP networking, including IPv4 addressing and subnets ✔ Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills ✔ Valid Ohio Driver's License ✔ Progress toward state low-voltage or fire licensing preferred Why Aardvark?
