Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Service Technician to join our team, dedicated to maintaining and repairing residential and light commercial hvac equipment . Duties Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on residential and light commercial equipment HVAC systems, . Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics to identify faults accurately. Troubleshoot mechanical problems involving precision measuring instruments, welding (stick welding), and equipment troubleshooting techniques. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule preventive maintenance activities. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to execute precise repairs on electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage circuits. Conduct safety assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards during all maintenance activities. Assist with technical sales by providing expert advice on equipment repairs and upgrades to clients or internal teams. Qualifications Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments. Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical diagnostics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, electrical system repair, welding techniques, and mechanical repairs. Familiarity with industrial electrician practices including schematic reading and electrical blueprint interpretation. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and perform maintenance at various heights. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics for diagnostics. Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively communicate technical information. Proficiency in English with strong documentation skills; experience with CMMS software is highly desirable. Valid certifications in electrical troubleshooting, welding (stick welding), HVAC/R or related fields are preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring high attention to detail.
