Job Summary:
The Honda Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle systems while ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role supports the service department by performing repairs to manufacturer specifications, communicating with service advisors, and helping ensure a smooth and professional service experience for every customer.
What You'll Do:
Perform repairs and maintenance specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately Diagnose vehicle systems including engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, and air conditioning Test-drive vehicles and operate diagnostic tools to identify service needs Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional service or repair recommendations Execute warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with teammates to support overall department productivity and quality Continuously learn new technology, repair procedures, and manufacturer specifications Perform additional duties as assigned
Who You Are:
Experienced or ASE-certified technician with strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Detail-oriented, professional, and customer-focused Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to grow and improve Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic service environment
Qualifications:
2+ years of service technician experience preferred ASE Certification required B-level qualifications preferred, including Diagnostics, Electrical, and Engine Repair Dexterity and hand-eye coordination for mechanical work Basic computer skills and ability to use diagnostic equipment Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to complete a background check and drug screening Must satisfy I-9 employment eligibility requirements
Schedule & Compensation:
