Job Summary:
The CAT Rental Store Technician will perform operational duties for diesel and gasoline engines, as well as boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, and other general earthmoving and material handling equipment, including inspections, maintenance, service, and repair.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Superior verbal and written communication skills, computer diagnostics, and mechanical abilities are required. Must meet or exceed the requirements of a CRS Technician Level Trainee.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have one or more years of experience with hands-on mechanical servicing and repair work with aerial work platform equipment, material handling equipment, or earthmoving equipment. Experience in maintaining and repairing Aerial Work Platforms, preferably JLG and Genie, is required. Experience servicing and dispatching a fleet of boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, and other earthmoving and material-handling equipment is required. Must have knowledge and experience with both diesel and gas engine mechanics. Must have experience in electronics and hydraulics systems.

Base pay, annual bonus potential, and company success share bonuses.
Physical Requirements:
The functions of the position require lifting, carrying, and pulling up to 50 pounds. Standing and sitting up, moving up and down stairs, and climbing into machines will be required. The functions of the position require normal dexterity and repetitive, as well as frequent, movements that involve the hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
