Job Description

Service Technician Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of medical equipment, including rollators, wheelchairs, scooters, power wheelchairs, and other mobility devices. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand, be comfortable working with basic tools, and possess an adaptable and organized approach to problem-solving. Experience with bicycles or wheelchairs is considered a bonus. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to improving clients' mobility and independence through expert equipment maintenance and repair. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with medical mobility equipment such as rollators, power wheelchairs, and related devices. Perform repairs on equipment using basic tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, and other hand tools. Conduct routine maintenance to ensure equipment functions safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of time on repairs, parts used, and service activities. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on equipment specifications and repair techniques to improve service quality. Organize work schedules efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks. Skills Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose equipment problems accurately. Proficiency in repairing mechanical devices using basic hand tools. Steady hand and good manual dexterity for precise repairs. Adaptability and open-mindedness to handle various types of equipment issues. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple service tasks effectively. Previous experience with bicycles or wheelchairs is a plus, not mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 40.0 per week
