Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement and control equipment through precise calibration processes. This role requires a strong understanding of quality systems.

The Calibration Technician will work both in-house and in the field, providing essential support to maintain operational excellence. Responsibilities Perform calibration of Scales, Hardness testers, Surface plates, Welders, Pressure Gages,Furnace instrumentation, assorted hand tools, temperature sensors and other customer critical instruments. Conduct field service calibrations, troubleshooting issues on-site while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret schematics and technical documentation to understand system configurations. Maintain calibration records and documentation in compliance with industry standards. Assist in the development of calibration procedures for new equipment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance calibration processes. Qualifications Proven experience as a Calibration Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of Quality Systems are a must. Familiarity with calibration standards and practices, including the ability to detect inaccuracies in measurements.. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, capable of interpreting technical schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Relevant certifications or training in calibration processes are required.
