About Us Bowles Roofing has served the Ocala/The Villages area for nearly 45 years as a trusted, family-owned roofing company. We're looking for a dependable Repair Technician to join our team. Job Summary We're hiring a full-time Roof Repair Technician to work on shingle roof repairs, with working knowledge of other roofing systems (metal, tile, flat/low-slope). This role also involves direct, ongoing communication with homeowners -from scheduling repair appointments to representing the company well on every job site. Responsibilities

• Diagnose roof leaks by identifying the exact source, not just the symptom
• Perform all types of repairs on shingle roofs: replacing shingles, flashing, boots, vents, valleys, underlayment, woodwork and related components
• Perform repairs on other roofing systems (metal, tile, flat/low-slope)
• Inspect roofs to identify leaks, damage, and general wear before they become bigger problems
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners
• Engage with customers daily and maintain a reputable, trustworthy presence on every job
• Complete accurate documentation — photos, notes, and reports for each job
• Load/unload materials and keep a clean, safe job site
• Follow OSHA safety standards, including proper ladder use and fall protection
• Maintain the company vehicle and tools in good working condition
• Show up on time, ready to work, every day Requirements
• Proven ability to diagnose and locate leak sources on shingle roofs
• Experience with shingle roof repair required; metal, tile, or flat roofing experience a plus
• Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
• Able to lift 50-80 lbs and climb ladders repeatedly throughout the day
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and scheduling skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and must be eligible to be added to the company's vehicle insurance
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred Pay & Benefits

Pay:

$18-$30/hour, based on experience

• Full-time W-2 employment
• Company truck provided for work use, plus gas card for work-related fuel
• Paid time off and paid holidays
• 401(k) and additional benefits available after approximately 90 days
