This entry-level role assist mechanics with routine service tasks and helps keep trucks, equipment, and the shop running efficiently. Ideal for someone mechanically inclined and looking to grow in an industrial environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs Perform basic services including oil changes, greasing, fluid checks, and filter changes Wash and clean company trucks and equipment Pick up parts and supplies from vendors as needed Conduct basic inspections and safely operate company vehicles Willingness to learn and grow within the maintenance department Dependable, safety-minded, and able to follow instructions Other duties as assigned Company offers a competitive benefit package to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, 401(k) match and paid time off.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid DL with acceptable driving record Must be able to successfully pass a background check in accordance with company and customer site requirements Ability to pass pre-employment, random, and annual drug screenings Ability to use basic hand tools Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, kneel, and work around heavy equipment Ability to work outdoors and in a shop environment Mechanical aptitude or interest in vehicle/equipment maintenance Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed Palmetto Industrial Services, Inc. is a family-owned company dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of industrial cleaning services to a diverse customer base across the Southeast.
