Perform vehicle maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and other vehicle concerns accurately and efficiently. Perform warranty, customer-pay, internal, recall, and maintenance repairs as assigned. Complete multi-point inspections and identify needed or recommended repairs. Clearly document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, parts needed, and technician notes on repair orders. Communicate with Service Advisors and management regarding vehicle diagnosis, repair recommendations, additional work needed, and expected completion times. Use proper diagnostic equipment, specialty tools, service information, and manufacturer resources. Follow all Stellantis/CDJR warranty repair and documentation requirements. Complete required manufacturer training and maintain applicable Stellantis certifications. Perform repairs correctly the first time and verify repairs before returning vehicles to customers. Maintain productivity and efficiency standards established by the dealership. Keep work areas, bays, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Properly care for customer vehicles while they are in the dealership's possession. Follow dealership safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and environmental regulations. Participate in ongoing technical training as required. Perform other service department duties as assigned by management.
