As soon as possible Job Summary North Point Computers is hiring a reliable and capable repair technician to operate our East Main Street location. This technician will diagnose and repair laptops, desktops, smartphones, and tablets while managing the daily workflow of the shop. The role requires someone who can think independently, research solutions online, and clearly communicate repair outcomes to customers. Because modern repair shops grow through visibility and education, this role also includes documenting repairs and posting simple repair content to social media. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair smartphones, laptops, desktops, and tablets Replace common components including screens, batteries, charging ports, storage drives,keyboards, other hardware components Use our internal ticket system to check in devices and track repairs Clearly explain repair results and options to customers Keep the repair bench and shop organized Perform weekly inventory counts and monitor parts availability Follow up on part orders and maintain repair timelines Research unfamiliar repairs using YouTube, repair forums, and AI tools Create simple repair content for social media including before and after repair videos, repair clips, and in progress shop updates Open and manage the shop during scheduled hours Requirements Experience repairing at least two of the following Phone repair Laptop repair Computer repair Tablet repair Strong troubleshooting ability for hardware and software problems Ability to research repair solutions online using tools like YouTube and AI Clear and professional communication with customers Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to work independently and manage daily shop activity Bonus Skills (Not Required) Soldering or board level repair Microsoldering Data recovery Advanced diagnostics Experience creating social media content Schedule Monday through Friday 10 AM to 7 PM Saturday 1 PM to 6 PM Sunday Closed Flexible scheduling within business hours.
