Powre Tek Electrical Field Services, LLC Travel-Based Position | Competitive Pay | Per Diem Available Powre Tek Electrical Field Services is looking for an experienced Transformer Field Service & Testing Technician to join our growing team. We are seeking motivated individuals with a strong electrical testing background who are ready to travel and support transformer maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning projects nationwide.
Responsibilities:
Perform transformer testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning Conduct electrical testing including: TTR Power Factor / Doble Testing Winding Resistance Insulation Resistance Excitation Current CT Testing Assist with oil processing, vacuum fill, and nitrogen procedures Read and interpret electrical drawings and test reports Complete detailed field reports and documentation Follow all safety procedures and customer requirements Work alongside crews during outages, PMs, and emergency callouts
Requirements:
Electrical testing experience required Transformer field service experience preferred NETA experience is a plus Ability to travel frequently Valid driver's license Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Ability to work overtime and outage schedules when needed
Preferred Experience:
Medium & high voltage testing Transformer assembly or install support Relay and breaker testing familiarity Substation or industrial electrical experience
