Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience in auto body repair, vehicle maintenance, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role involves restoring vehicles to their original condition by removing dents without damaging the paint, ensuring high-quality results for our customers. Candidates with dealership experience and a strong mechanical background are highly preferred. Duties Perform paintless dent repairs using specialized tools and techniques to remove dents, dings, and creases from vehicle panels. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment to achieve seamless repairs. Conduct vehicle inspections to assess damage extent and determine appropriate repair strategies. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair status. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures. Skills Proven experience or background in auto body repair highly desirable. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying. Experience with auto estimating is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on vehicles of various sizes. Customer service skills with the ability to communicate repair processes clearly.
