Mows grass, trims trees and shrubs, maintains medians and flower beds, and collects litter. Operates various equipment, power tools, and hand tools in the performance of job duties; performs preventative and corrective maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Assists with mosquito control, fertilization and weed control, and irrigation installation, maintenance, and repairs as needed. Assists Fleet and Facilities departments as needed and assists with special events and installation of Christmas decorations. Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED

No direct supervision exercised. Valid driver's license High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in general grounds maintenance, litter removal, operating commercial mowers and trimmers, or related field preferred. Physical Demands /

Work Environment:

Indoor and outdoor environments, exposure to environmental hazards and chemicals. Ability to sit, stand, walk, crouch, lift, push, pull, climb, operate, and carry equipment. Work on-call or extended hours. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
