Job Description

Field Service Technician Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Field Service Technician responsible for delivering exceptional service, maintenance, and repair support in the field. This role focuses on ensuring timely, accurate service completion while maintaining high standards of professionalism, technical expertise, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to exceeding service expectations. Key Responsibilities Perform service, maintenance, and repair tasks in a timely and precise manner. Diagnose and repair broken or malfunctioning equipment; replace faulty or worn-out parts as needed. Install, test, and troubleshoot equipment at customer locations. Provide clear instructions and support to customers regarding installed products and services. Maintain service vehicles, trucks, and trailers in clean, organized, and operational condition. Ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are stocked for daily service calls. Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding field issues, service concerns, and process improvement ideas. Deliver excellent customer service during all field visits while ensuring workflow aligns with scheduled assignments. Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and service standards. Complete additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Proven experience in field service, maintenance, repair, or technical service roles. Strong working knowledge of equipment used in field operations. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and repair techniques. Ability to understand and explain serviced products and equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, load, and unload equipment weighing 50 lbs or more. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work in confined spaces, bend frequently, and perform physically demanding tasks. Must be able to travel extensively within assigned service areas. Performance Expectations Accuracy and completeness in assigned work. Consistent reliability and strong attendance record.
