Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented experienced watchmaker who strives for perfection and has a passion for watches. We buy/sell 80-110 pre-owned watches per month, consisting majority of Breitling, Hublot, Panerai, and Omega, but we also sell Rolex, Cartier, Tag Heuer, Chopard, Corum, Bell & Ross, Montblanc, Bulgari, IWC, AP, PP, JLC, etc. Currently, we have been outsourcing our inventory for 10 years to seven non-local watchmakers, so we are looking to bring this all in house now. Experience is required. Polishing expertise is not required but certainly a value-add; we also will entertain hiring a dedicated polisher, due to the volume we deal in. Relationships with manufacturers for sourcing parts is a value-add. Responsibilities Quality control testing of watches: timegraphing, pressure testing, etc Competency to complete full services, replace crystals and other parts, etc Implement process improvements to improve efficiency

Pay Range We have a $48,000-$60,000 pay range in mind for competent watchmakers. We would entertain higher, if there is significant experience and expertise, that can be demonstrated and tested. We do have the capacity for continual raises every 6-18 months, when deserved. Tools You are encouraged to bring your own tools and equipment. We are building our equipment over time. Witschi:
Witschi Proofmaster CP Pro Witschi Proofmaster CP Witschi Chronomaster Auto + Terminal Pro Witschi Teslascope Pulse Durston 1424 Pro Polishing Motor (Double Sided) No PTO in Year 1. In Year 2, there are four paid vacation days and six paid sick days. Full time 9:30am-6:30pm M-F. Slight flexibility is possible. Additional pay is available, in the event you are a work-a-holic and prefer to work longer hours or more days.
