For more information, check out www.zedcor.com. Position Overview Zedcor is seeking a Service Technician who will be responsible for helping expand service to existing customers. The field service technician will be a crucial team member as we continue to execute our growth strategy. This position will be perfect for you if you have a strong mechanical and diagnostic aptitude to provide support for our mobile security towers and to push the company forward. Zedcor has an office based out of Dallas, TX, however, this is a field position working on equipment throughout various parts of Texas. Key Responsibilities Inspect and repair towers before departing to the site. Manage all on site installations, repair, maintenance, and test tasks. Determine and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on site. Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions. Deliver and pickup towers when needed. Produce timely and detailed service and equipment reports. Adhere to safety daily requirements from Zedcor and customer sites. Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols. Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization. Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings. Build relationships with customers. Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications Strong knowledge of diesel engines, generators, and electrical systems is a must. Must be able to operate a service truck for maintenance and service on surveillance light towers 3-5 years' experience in equipment maintenance and repairs equipment. Proven field service experience. Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment. Excellent verbal communication skills. Self-starter, driven, and motivated to work independently with little oversight. Must be willing to work in the shop when not on the road. Experience working in a fast-paced competitive environment that is results-driven. Valid Class A- CDL Driver License Positive attitude and team player. High sense of urgency and customer service driven. Physical Demands Outdoor work
